Last updated: October 11, 2026
1. Overview
CNY Game Devs hosts content posted by its members. We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
2. Designated Agent
Send copyright notices to our designated agent:
Name: Adrian Maggio
Organization: Cyborg Interactive, LLC
Email: [email protected]
Mailing address: 1721 Black River Blvd., Suite 100, Rome, NY 13440
Notices sent anywhere else may not be processed.
3. Sending a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on the Site infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed (a title, a link to the original, or a description)
- The URL on cnygamedevs.com of the material you say is infringing, specific enough for us to find it
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
If a notice is missing any of these, we will reply and ask you to resubmit. We do not act on incomplete notices.
Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
4. What We Do With a Valid Notice
Within 2 business days of receiving a complete notice we will:
- Remove or hide the material
- Notify the member who posted it, with a copy of the notice (minus your contact details if you ask us to withhold them)
- Record the notice in our takedown log
- Confirm to you by email that the material was removed
5. Counter-Notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if outside the United States, the Northern District of New York), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
6. Repeat Infringers
An account that is the subject of three valid takedown notices within any 12-month period will be permanently terminated. We may also terminate sooner for obvious or egregious infringement.
7. Other Intellectual Property
For trademark or other non-copyright complaints, email [email protected] with a description of the issue and the URL. We handle these case by case.
